The College, which was started in a small campus in the city of Bangalore, was relocated to the outskirts of the city in 1970.
The present campus is located in Kothanur, which is 13 km northeast of the city of Bangalore. Bangalore, "the Silicon Valley of India", is the principal administrative, commercial, educational and industrial centre of Karnataka State.
